We are proud of the achievements of every debater in our program. Here are a few examples of the external media coverage we have received.
Congratulations to Grade 6 debaters from Cannons Creek Independent School for clinching victory in their debate against Curro on 21 February 2024. A round of applause is due to the speakers: Alistair Baker, Grace Clarke and Ava Stoffels, with special recognition to Grace Clarke for being awarded the best speaker.

Dynamite comes in small packages and pupils from Siyabulela Primary School in Langa are a testament to this. The pupils came out tops at the Primary School Debating League junior division and earned themselves a spot in the Maputo Championship next year – if they can get there.

A 13-year-old Grade 7 pupil at Star of the Sea Convent School won the inaugural Cape Town Primary School Debating League’s “best speaker” award. Sage Maidza only became a member of her school’s debating team this year.

We Won! The Marist Brothers Linmeyer High School Grade 9 Junior Debating Team qualified for the Finals of the Johannesburg South Debating League. They faced BESA at Glenanda Primary on the 17th May for this final round and they were named as the winners of the Junior League.
